

| Chris is establishing himself as a new breed of musical theater director / choreographer. With a style that is a fusion of the character/plot based, grounded, and emblematic approach popularized by Robbins, Kidd, and Fosse, and the fast-paced, multiple faceted storytelling today’s audiences are coming to expect, Chris excels at bringing a contemporary sensibility and perspective to traditional musical theater. Chris’ work has been seen in award winning and nationally recognized regional and stock theater. Critics are describing his work as: “Exuberant,” “Youthful,” “Genuine,” “Daring,” “Vivacious,” “Glitzy,” “Extreme,” and “Charming.” He is a purist at heart, and believes that traditional musical theater can be accessible to all. Trained in classical ballet, contemporary jazz, and tap, Chris is aptly suited to direct and choreograph musicals from the golden age of Broadway that appeal to the expectations of modern audiences, along with updating and invigorating them with a fresh innovate style that, while respectful of the original creators intent, is alluring to young audiences. Chris is originally from Pittsburgh, where he graduated from Point Park College.
